League Swap is free to any sport enthusiast to use. You may use this portal to identify and advertise your league for the purpose of attracting new members that may be looking to join your league. If you are a sport enthusiast then you may want to find a sports league in your area that you can join. League managers can additionally use this site to find another league with which to swap venues.
Leaguswap.com will try to have no limitation as to your geographic location. Initially, it will work for North America only. League swap identifies your location on the globe using Google Maps™. This then helps to locate you for interested sports enthusiasts relative to their own location.
Beware that league administrators may open or close membership at their discretion, which may result in changing search results, when compared to earlier searches.
What you can do with League Swap:
Internet users may query the league database for an existing league in their vicinity that offers open membership.
To find a league of interest you can narrow your search by a number of criteria:
Use your location and a range to ask the system to identify leagues located in your desired vicinity. The resultant list can then be expanded, showing all the known details about the league. From that detail information you may contact the league representative by sending an e-mail message. You must identify yourself with your name, e-mail address and phone number at that time so that the league may contact you to further discuss the arrangement.
Registering yourself as a “user” is optional. You may inquire about leagues without being registered. User registration becomes advantageous when you plan to use this system more often as your data and location does not need to be re-entered each time.
The league representative needs to register first with a unique user-ID and Password. The user-ID is your e-mail address and the password must be at least 7 characters long, consisting of at least one non-alphanumeric character. (i.e. "*","$")
LeagueSwap.com assumes that the same person (e-mail address) manages only one (1) league. A separate e-mail address is required if the same person manages more than one league.
The "Forgot Password" feature will email you a link to change your password. After which you can log on and change the password.

Registration serves to manage your league’s properties. Whatever information you wish the public to know is collected here.
Note: Although LeagueSwap.com asks for your phone number and knows of your e-mail address, these two pieces of information are never published or exposed to users looking for leagues, unless you specifically authorize them by marking the “public” option. Contacts to you are only performed via automatic e-mail.
Your league information consists of two parts:
LeagueSwap.com maintains a unique venue database. When several leagues refer to the same venue we attempt to maintain only one venue record. It is therefore important that you spell the name of the venue and/or its address correctly. Since LeagueSwap.com relies on your due diligence it is important that you fill out the venue’s data as accurately as you can.
This feature will be opened in Phase-II, after the system has collected a sizeable number of leagues first. The purpose of this feature is to aid leagues in locating a different venue and swapping league venues with a different league having the same interest.
A good example may be a golf league that has played for years at the same course and would like to play at a different venue in the future. Before that can be accomplished we must first locate another league that may also be interested in changing venue. LeagueSwap.com will record all the requests and periodically match them up. Any matching requests will be identified via e-mail to the league representatives. LeagueSwap.com does not perform the swap; it only aids the league representatives by identifying alternate venues.
